After a month and a day of my little bloggy effort, I want to extend a special Turkey Day “Thank You” to everyone who has stopped by, commented, shared photos, and just generally helped to make the world a quiltier place.

When I asked about favorite single blocks the other day, Mary mentioned that she liked snowballs best as a one-block quilt.

Judging by this beautiful photo from Fancy Me, she may have a point!
The irony is that the snowball + nine patch has long been my favorite 2-block variation. I love this scrappy version from Q is for Quilter:
