I have quite literally never seen anything like this orbit quilt from Pink Sweetie, which makes it a prime candidate for a fantasy purchase.
Seriously, that is just cool. I love the idea of hanging it in a little girl’s room. The palette is just right, without any ducks or teddy bears or any commitment to stare at any other cute animal for years on end.
DIY-ers – me included – tend to have an “I could make that!” attitude that is great on some levels, but can really take the fun out of shopping. Well, I like this quilt because I could not make it. Or, if I could, I wouldn’t think to, which is almost better. I’m so grateful for anything that reminds me I haven’t seen everything. You know?
*The ironic thing about my posts this weekend is that I don’t even like to gamble. Lucky for me, when I get back from not multiplying my means, I will surely be able to afford some of Pink Sweetie’s covered buttons. Cute AND useful!
