If I seem to have babies on the brain lately, it’s because I was invited to a baby shower this weekend, and, as with anything quilt-related, I found more inspiration that I had time to satisfy it. So the photo below is not what I made, but is a darn good idea nonetheless: a quilt, a coordinating toy, and some onesies.

One tip I got regarding onesies that has been really handy: use organic. They don’t stretch quite as much during embroidery or applique, and the bounce back incredibly well after machine washing. And, obviously, they’re better for the environment – everyone wins!
