As you may have guessed, I’m not the only one who made a mosaic.
I love Mary’s inspiration so much that it intimidates me a bit. It’s one thing to figure out what someone likes and just go for it, but my tastes are similar to Mary’s. So the pressure is on to make something really fabulous.

I’m so excited about the Placemat Quilt Swap! I haven’t swapped in a while, and, while I love the idea of doll quilts, I’m in the middle of a cross-country move, so they just don’t fit my lifestyle right now. An uber-functional tabletopper, however? YES, PLEASE.

Anyway, there are too many fun things about flickr swaps to list them all, so let’s discuss of fun thing about the early stages of a swap: inspiration mosaics! Ever since the infamous FD started coming up with flickr toys, no photo is safe from inspiring a gazillion great projects. Here’s what I’m hoping will inspire Mary:
